The Burgas artists Dobrin Vatev, Ognian Petkov and Atanas Stoyanov in August 2015 produced three sculptures of birds - Turn, Avocet and Black-Winged Stilt, which are still exhibited at Exhibition Center "Flora" - Bourgas.The works are made within the framework of the Art and Birds Project of the Artists' Association - Burgas, funded by the Municipality of Burgas and implemented in partnership with the Bulgarian Biodiversity Foundation (BBF). The authors were inspired by some of the emblematic bird species on the lagoon, and through various materials - marble, metal and even scrap, they recreated the remarkable inhabitants of Atanasovsko Lake.
