Conservation camp

The nature conservation camp "Atanasovsko Lake" 2017, which is the oldest in Bulgaria and is held for the 29th consecutive year, was completed. This August, over 70 volunteers from Sofia, Plovdiv, Burgas took part in the activities during the brigade, but young people from Australia, Great Britain and Germany returned especially for the camp. 

Many new friends have Atanasovsko lake after the end of this year's nature conservation brigade, organized by the BSPB under the "Salt of Life" project. More than half of the volunteers involved were here for the first time and are now among the biggest fans of the lagoon, its birds and camp life, located on the meadow in the northern salinas of Burgas.

he Bulgarian Biodiversity Foundation, the Bulgarian Society for the Protection of Birds and the Black Sea Salinas Ltd. invite all people with an adventurous spirit to join the nature conservation brigade organized under the "Salt of Life" project of the EU LIFE + program.

From 21 to 30 August the Bulgarian Society for the Protection of Birds (BSPB) organizes the Atanasovsko Lake 2015 Nature Conservation Brigade, which includes 40 volunteers from the country and one from the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds - Great Britain.

This year, for the first time, the camp is organized within the framework of the Salt of Life project, LIFE +. The brigade was held from August 22-31, 2014.
